Kash's New Website

I have begun Kash's new website. You can find the link to his page in the "Favorite Web Pages" section of this blog. This site will be mostly for uploading photos of him, so you can all see how he's growing. I will also occasionally write journal entries about things he has been experiencing. Enjoy!

7 weeks

Let the morning sickness begin. Everything I smell makes me want to vomit, I have to eat every 2 hours or I get nauseous, and I'm exhausted. We're visiting our families for the holiday's and I've spent at least half my time here asleep (well, it didn't help that I also caught a nasty cold this week). So basically, I feel like crap. But morning sickness is a sign of a healthy baby, so I guess I can at least feel good about that. Blech.

Today was my first doctor's appointment. Everything looks good, the baby is measuring right where he's supposed to and we saw a nice strong heartbeat. Though I'm still having trouble getting excited about this pregnancy, I think once I pass the 10 week mark I may feel better about everything, at least I hope so. I would hate for my entire pregnancy to be robed of joy because of how things ended up last time. But don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound like such a downer, I'm just afraid to get too excited I guess. Here's our baby's first picture:

5 weeks

Well, my period still hasn't showed up and although I haven't taken another HPT, I don't think I need the reassurance. We really are pregnant again! I've got my first doctor's appointment scheduled for next week, and hopefully all will appear well. I made sure to get an appointment before we leave for Lancaster to visit for Christmas. I have a feeling we won't be able to keep it a secret as long as we may like during all the family visiting, and I'd like to have a good doctor's appointment under our belt before we start spreading the news. Finger's crossed!
